Appalachian Inspiration

Beall has received commissions from the National Endowment for the Arts, the West Virginia Music Teachers Association (Composer of the Year, 1981), and the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra- Performances of Bealls compositions have been made by orchestral groups including Dallas, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Symphonies, as well as by chamber organizations such as the Interlochen Faculty Players, Quorum, and Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble.
