The AS-442 Grit Sharp offers a double sided diamond whetstone sharpener with a non-skid rubber base. The sharpener has an extra coarse 180 grit and coarse 325 grit, each with monocrystalline advanced technology. The extra coarse diamond grit is ideal for burrs and rough edges, while the coarse diamond grit, quickly sharpens a dull edge. The two stage sharpening with an interrupted surface and a continuous surface offers an ideal, all purpose sharpener. It will quickly sharpen the toughest materials, including tool steel, carbide, titanium and ceramics. It is an ideal sharpener for cutlery knives, woodworking tools, garden tools and machine tools. The sharpener has two diamond surfaces that measure 8 5/8" x 2 1/2". Sharpen dry or with water.
