Anchorages and Marine Parks
This new edition of Anchorages and Marine Parks contains a special section on Haida Gwaii. Like its predecessors, it also provides details of the popular and useful anchorages throughout the Pacific Northwest. It includes references to the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve and covers the San Juan Islands, Desolation Sound, the Broughton Islands, the west coast of Vancouver Island and places south to north along the way between these destinations as well as the main waterways to the southern tip of Alaska. Maps and diagrams include descriptive icons showing recommended anchorages, coves and bays. Information is provided in a user-friendly format, enabling the reader to readily see where they have been and where they are going in relation to other stops. The pages take the mariner from one anchorage to the next in a successive, geographic progression.
