AmpFlow E30-400-G Electric Gearmotor, 12V, 24V or 36 VDC, 680 RPM
p>The AmpFlow speed Reducer is a heavy-duty, low-cost, gearhead that works with any of the three-inch diameter AmpFlow motors. It uses a unique arrangement of roller chains and sprockets rather than gears. This results in torque and efficiency comparable to gear-type reducers at just 1/2 or even 1/3 of the cost of high-torque, geared speed reducers.
these speed reducers are made with a three-piece aluminum case that has been precision CNC machined. The case measures 6 x 3 x 2 inches. The hardened output shaft is 3/4-inch diameter and 2.2 inches long. It has a 1/4-inch Keyway and a 5/16-24 tapped hole. The long output shaft makes it easy to mount wheels, pulleys, sprockets, or gears. Four long 1/4-20 mounting bolts are supplied with the unit.
the reduction ratio is 8.3:1. The backlash is about +/- 1.2 Degrees, and the gearhead has been tested to a failure point of 3500 inch-pounds, (395 nm), of torque.
the motor attached to this speed Reducer is the AmpFlow E30-400. (Other motors are also available). this motor is designed to deliver good performance and efficiency at an economical price. This is achieved by the use of four brushes and advanced electromagnetic computer modeling and design.
these motors are made from two sturdy aluminum castings and a seamless body. The E30-400 motor is 3.1 inches in diameter and 5.8 inches long. There is a short 3/8-inch diameter shaft on the rear of the motor for mounting an optical encoder. The heavy-gauge 12 AWG motor leads are 18 inches long. The motor is finished in a high-quality black powder-coat.
this reversible gear motor can be used at voltages ranging from 12V to 36Vdc. At 24 Volts it has the following performance: the no-load speed is 680 RPM. It develops a maximum of 2.1 horsepower and a maximum stall torque of 770 In-Lbs. This gear motor weighs 9.4 pounds.
wheels, ranging in size from 4 inches to 12.5 inches, are available. Search Amazon for “AmpFlow WheelMotorsâ€
