America's Lost Highway-California's U.S. Highway 99
U.S. 99 once traveled around Mount Shasta, down the length of the Central Valley, and across the San Fernando Mountains into Los Angeles, before turning east to the Imperial Valley and Mexico. Both branches, U.S. Highways 99E and 99W are explored between Red Bluff and Sacramento. The metropolitan areas of Sacramento and Los Angeles are covered in depth with over one hundred points of interest. Reference maps and GPS Coordinates for listed historic sites are included. This third edition adds navigation links within the text.
