The American Metal Filter AMRCP0506 Charcoal Filter contains (1) layer of carbon polysorb between with (1) layer of expanded aluminum for support. Length and width +- 1/16-inch and thickness +- 1/8-inch. This disposable carbon filter is used in ductless range hoods and microwave ovens to help remove cooking odors from the air. Do not wash because the carbon material used in this filter will deteriorate. Replace approximately every 6-months to improve air circulation and quality. This OEM part replaces Whirlpool 4393690 and 4393791.
