The American Educational 7-1853 hand-cranked 12V DC generator has a plastic housing, binding posts, and a mounted lamp. It provides up to 12V DC for experiments requiring a power supply for students in grades 6-12. The clear plastic housing is lightweight and durable. The binding posts provide a connection to an outside electrical circuit. It includes a mounted lamp and can be used as a flashlight. It measures 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 6-1/2 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
