The Recharger will also automatically detect when a battery has reached its maximum charge. The display will indicate "MAX CHARGE" together with 1 to 5 bars of charge. As a battery's ability to retain charge is diminished, the amount of bars illuminated at the "MAX CHARGE" stage will also decrease. Due to variables in the battery manufacturing process, batteries may diminish or become exhausted at different rates.
