Their ergonomic design allows you to easily manipulate the cell cultures while keeping the contamination risk to a minimum at all times. All of our cell culture flasks are made of crystal grade polystyrene and feature polyethylene caps. Alkali Scientific offers a variety of flasks with variable culture growth surface area, volume, and cap design. The culture growth surface area is 75 Square Centimeter, with a volume of 250ml. The vented filter caps, fitted with breathable membranes, ensure the optimal levels of gas exchange for your cultures. These cell culture flasks are safe for use in all CO2 incubators, even for long-term usage. The short and wide design of the canted neck of the flask will allow you to easily pour and gain access to the growth surface of your cell culture and reduces the risk of accidental spills. The ramp from the canted neck to the growth surface prevents sloshing and allows for easier pouring. The neck has an opening wide enough as to allow you to easily insert cell scrapers with the blade parallel to the handle and windshield wiper style cell scrapers, with the blade perpendicular to the handle, as well as serological pipettes, even 10 ml or 25 ml ones. You can easily gain access to the corners of the flask and you won€t have to worry about losses thanks to the rectangular flask design. The cell culture flasks from ASI have a flat surface, and thanks to their rigidity they allow easy, slip free, staking of the flasks, helping you to save space both while you store them and while they are in the incubator. The wide base also ensures maximum safety while you are filling the flask with media These tissue cultures flasks also feature clear volumetric graduation marks on the sides which, together with the perfectly transparent polystyrene will allow you to easily measure the quantity of media you have inside the flask at all times. Additionally, the flasks are fitted with a writing patch, allowing you to easily label, identify and track your cell cultures The material of production used is optically clear, crystal grade virgin polystyrene of the highest quality.
