Alkali Scientifics A+ 0.5 milliliter PCR Tubes are universal for most thermal cyclers including Bio-Rad, ABI, Eppendorf, Thermo Fisher and many other popular brands. The caps seal very well as they 'snap' into place over the PCR tubes. With that being said, they are still quite easy to take back off without liquid splashing back up causing cross-contamination. These pcr tubes don't melt or change shape in the thermal cycler. They are very sturdy and they don€t bounce or bend easily. They are made using Alkali€s premium A+ grade polypropylene polymer molds making the plastic extremely clear and smooth. The plastic is naturally low-retention as static charges are eliminated in the manufacturing process. The A+ PCR Tubes can be used for regular and real-time PCR. The caps are flat and optically clear providing a writing surface and making them useful in many different applications and are great as polymerase tubes.
