Aeroquip 1S6DL4 Carbon Steel Global Crimp Hose Fitting DKO Light Duty Female Swivel Fitting , Straight, 1/4" Hose ID, 8 mm Tube Size
This Aeroquip global crimp hydraulic hose fitting is made of carbon steel and provides a straight connection of hose to a pipe with a crimp nipple on one end that attaches to a skived hose and a Dicht Kegel O-ring (DKO) female swivel (metric O-ring seal, 24-degree cone) on the other end for connecting to a male threaded pipe and forming an elastomeric seal. It is made of American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 12L14 carbon steel for tensile strength and hardness, coated with zinc for resistance to corrosion, and it has been machined to meet Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) standards. Pressure and temperature ratings are determined by the maximum working pressure for the hose size and type, as hose failure typically occurs first. This Aeroquip light duty fitting is designed exclusively for Aeroquip hose for low to medium pressure hydraulic applications, such as automotive, agriculture, among others.
This fitting is compatible with the following Aeroquip hoses: Clamp: 2661 (–12 thru –20) and FC619 (–12 thru –20). Socket 1SA: 2681, FC194, FC310, FC510, FC639/FC839B (–4 thru –8), GH194 (–4 thru –20), GH663, and GH681. Socket 1SB: 2781, FC195, FC466, FC498, FC598, FC579, FC639/ FC839B (–10 thru –16), FC735 (–4 thru –20), FC849/FC849B (–06 thru –12), GH120 (–4 thru –20), GH195, GH781 (–04 thru –20), GH793, and 2766.
Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others.
Aeroquip, a subsidiary of Eaton, manufactures hose, fittings, adapters, couplings, and fluid connectors. The company, founded in 1939, is headquartered in Maumee, OH.
