Adirondack Trails: Northville Placid Trail
Covers the entire N-P Trail. Includes page maps and distance logs for each section of the 133-mile trail. Authors Jeffrey and Donna Case say that the 132-mile-long trail provides a cross-section of all the Adirondacks has to offer. It passes through some of the wildest and most remote parts of the Adirondack Park, reaches a height of over 3000 feet near Blue Mountain, and passes through several interesting Adirondack regions. The N-P Trail, begun in 1922, was the first project undertaken by the newly-formed Adirondack Mountain Club. PLEASE NOTE: Guidebook does not contain the traditional ADK topographic map any longer.
