At 8", the wheels provide a effortless ride over smooth to medium-rough terrains. The scooter's handle can turn a full 40°, both clockwise and counter-clockwise, for increased steering ability. And for a fully customized ride, both the knee bench's height and the handle's height are adjustable. All it takes is a turn of a knob (a handy feature for someone incapacitated). The knee pad adjusts from 18.5"-24", and the handle adjusts anywhere from 32"-38". Some of the design features sported by the AdirMed Knee Scooter are: powder coated steel finish to resist damage, 1 easy-to-use hand brake, and a convenient carry basket to free up your arms. It has a quick release clamp for easy storage when traveling or not in use. Additionally, the AdirMed 901 comes in a variety of colors. While the knee bench remains black, you can choose the color of the steel frame.
