MIDSOLE The Springblade Drives principle performance element and party piece is its midsole. 16 polymer blades replace traditional foam cushioning compounds to deliver a unique, revolutionary approach to cushioning and propulsion, with a striking aesthetic to match. Each blade is aggressively appointed in such a way that energy obtained during the heelstrike phase is returned during subsequent phases of the gait, culminating in an explosive toe off that propels the wearer forward. Energy is recycled, compression set is eradicated and smoother, more efficient runs abound; each blade instantaneously reacts to any environment, compressing and releasing energy.
