The Parallella (P1601) is a a great computer for anyone interested in high performance parallel computing and/or advanced hobby projects. The open source, community supported platform is ideal for developers in industry, academia, or for personal use. The P1601 is a fully enabled programmable computer that includes a 16c-core Epiphany RISC parallel processor, Xilinx Zynq 7Z010 FPGA SOC and has Ethernet, USB, HDMI, Serial peripheral interfaces as well as multiple GPIO ports. The P1601 can be used for programming scalable parallel applications, as part of a cluster of Parallella boards, for embedded applications and much more.
