Tech Grade Acetic Acid is a colorless liquid that when undiluted is called glacial acetic acid. Acetic acid is the main component of vinegar (apart from water; vinegar is roughly 8% acetic acid by volume), and has a distinctive pungent smell. Protect from freezing. Glacial Acetic will freeze under 16.65C. If freezing occurs thaw by immersion of the sealed container in warm water. DO NOT apply direct heat or the container may rupture. Avoid contact with metals except for stainless steel or aluminum. Store away from incompatible substances.
