A Pony Girl Named Brandie
Book Description:
Crashing a college fraternity party, Brandie Ware is introduced to Thomas. An instant attraction develops as Brandie is drawn in by his confident attitude, handsome looks and charms. As their relationships builds, Thomas convinces Brandie to travel with him over spring break to visit his uncle. Upon arriving at the black, wrought iron, double gates, Brandie’s excitement is evident seeing the remote castle like estate on the coast. She loved fairytales and castles as a child, her eyes twinkled with delight.
Waking up the next morning, Thomas’s betrayal is discovered as Brandie finds herself on the floor in a bed of straw locked in a small stall. When the locked door opens, Brandie faces Ryan, the pony girl trainer, who informs Brandie of her grim situation and new life. With no choice, Brandie is soon stripped on her clothes, pride and innocence replaced by forced obedience and pony tact. Meanwhile, mixed emotions attack Thomas. Feeling guilt for the first time, he plots to rescue Brandie from Ryan’s clutches. Free again but hesitant to trust Thomas, Brandie steals his car keys, escaping alone. Angry and embarrassed, Thomas is forced to confess his actions to his uncle who provides the help to chase down and capture the runaway pony girl. Returned under Ryan’s control training resumes again. Ryan begins to admire Brandie’s wild spirit while punishing the couple to drive a permanent wedge between their relationships. Thomas faces more humiliations back at the castle and plots revenge of his own. A triangle of power and control develops between the three. Finally broken, mind, body and spirit, Brandie accepts her new life as a pony girl only to be offered freedom once more, this time at Ryan’s hand. When finally left with a choice of a life as a pony girl or freedom, what will Brandie choose?
