A Familiar Star (Romance Mystery)

When Kylie Lawrence buys the lakeside house of her dreams, she gets more then she bargained for. It seems that the house was not only sold to her, but it was also sold to the dashing and confident astronomer Max Shepard. Both being out of a home, in love with the lakeside house and unwilling to part with it, they reluctantly agree to share it while the true ownership is settled by their lawyers. However, the already tense arrangement is further complicated when an undeniable attraction arises between them.
Looking for true love and unsure of whether Max is just a player, Kylie is encouraged by her sister to direct her affections towards the local police detective Paul MacFarland who also has an eye on her. While both Max and Paul vie for her attention, the situation worsens when Max becomes the prime suspect for a series of local murders. With Paul in charge of the case and blinded by his rivalry, Kylie is compelled to determine who is at the heart of the murders and who, if either of them, will have her heart.
