A Cure for the Sexually Unresponsive

Jo, an intelligent young woman fresh out of college, is the daughter of a timid and sexually repressed mother and carries her mother's fears and values to her relationship with Carl, her somewhat frustrated boyfriend. Following the deaths of her parents during her teens and then her uncle, Jo unexpectedly and rather embarrassingly finds herself the owner of a London night club at the age of twenty two.

Approached by a pharmaceutical company looking for candidates to test a new drug, Jo allows two of her staff leave for a month only to belatedly discover that the company doesn't appear to exist. Convinced that the women must have been abducted and unable to rouse the police into action, Jo and Carl frantically but methodically conduct the search themselves.

Meanwhile, a professor and his 'assistants' begin the treatment regime for the two women; a course that involves injecting stem cells into the base of the neck and then encouraging them to form new neural networks. The girls will slowly be reprogrammed to view the sexual orgasm as their main, if not their only, aim in life to turn them into compliant sex dolls. The process of differentiating the cells is arduous in the extreme for the helpless girls, requiring frequent and extensive stimulation in ways they're unable to control.

Jo and Carl's search finally yields results, but unforeseen consequences then puts Jo in jeopardy.

'A Cure for the Sexually Unresponsive' is a novel that mixes the latest biological research with conflicted relationships, kidnapping, evidential analyses, attempted murder and unexpected friendships, but, most of all, with the aggressive sexual stimulation of vulnerable and restrained women.
