8 Original Knit Dog Sweater Patterns!

Knit from bottom to top. You will knit back and forth and then in the round.
There is no seam up the front of the chest!
You don't have to cut working yarn throughout body of the sweater pattern - the yarn you start with is the working yarn you will finish the body of the sweater with!
Ribbing around leg and belly openings are the only points where you have to start a new working yarn. They are worked by picking up stitches after body has been completed.
Finishing is as simple as weaving in ends - There is no sewing!

These patterns are for a smaller breed of dog. The patterns are for size small only. For a Miniature Schnauzer, Scottie, Jack Russell, Pug, etc. The dogs pictured are between 15 and 16 pounds. They are all Miniature Schnauzers. A slightly smaller or a slightly larger dog should do fine with these sweaters.
For all of the sweaters pictured, I used worsted weight yarn - 5 stitches per inch. Wool yarn provides an even warmer sweater!
Directions are given for either 2 circular needles or for double-pointed needles (sets of 4 or 5)
