8 Hours in St. Martin - A Cruiser's Guide
The island of St. Martin is one of my favorite ports of call in the Caribbean. I am not alone in this as each year millions of cruise ship passengers stop off to explore the island. Although the island is small there is a lot to do on St. Martin. Being the smallest landmass shared by two different governments, saying there is a lot to do on St. Martin would be an understatement. Two countries, dozens of beachs, hundreds of restaurants and nearly a thousand places to shop can very easily become overwhelming.
Most travel guides concentrate on giving you extensive and comprehensive information in an attempt to cover every single aspect of your vacation destination. In the process they fail to offer you an informed view about what you can expect to experience during your limited time in port. You want to know what cruisers like to do in St. Martin, not travel writers. Writers visit these ports every year on someone else's dime. You deserve a guide written by a cruiser for cruisers.
