The fabric is a polyester with Glitter/Sparkles on One Side and Nothing on the Head side (Besides the fabric). The bottom/back is Elastic so it has a nice stretch to it and stays in place well.

The headbands are approx. 19" Around - so your head should be at least 20" around to be able to wear them. Girls as young as 4 have been able to wear them up to Teen/Adult age (because of the elastic in the back). If your daughter is younger - it's recommended to measure their head wear they would wear the headband to make sure it's at least 20" around before orders (for a best fit).
