50-54 Tensilkut Master Template: ASTM D638 Type II

The 50-54 Tensilkut Master Template is designed to prepare a tensile test bar in accordance with ASTM D638 Type II. The specimen is .750" overall width, with a gauge section of .250" x 1". This specimen is commonly used in testing plastics and other non-metallic materials. When used with the Tensilkut I or Tensilkut II, the 50-54 Template will prepare a specimen accurate to within +/- .0005". The Tensilkut Master Templates are made from high quality steel, heat treated and plated for durability. Note that we will need your Tensilkut machine's model and serial number in order to ship the correct size Master Template; we will contact you for that information. We will contact you for the model number of your Tensilkut I or Tensilkut II when you order. The 50-51 will be shipped for use with the 10-13 Tensilkut I, the 50-52 will be shipped for use with the 10-23, 10-28 or 10-48 Tensilkut I or the 10-82 Tensilkut II. The 50-53 will be shipped for use with the 10-33, 10-38 or 10-58 Tensilkut I and the 10-85 Tensilkut II, and the 50-54 will be shipped for use with the 10-68 or 10-78 Tensilkut I or the 10-88 Tensilkut II.
