These five Russian nesting dolls are unpainted, but they have faces and kerchiefs drawn on, and the three largest have a flower pattern drawn in Russian folk art style. Each of these flowers has a unique pattern. The kit comes with a set of paints, a paintbrush, and instructions for painting them. When the painting is completed, the original lines for faces, kerchiefs, and flowers will still show for an appealing folk art effect.
When painted, the two largest dolls will have red dresses and yellow aprons trimmed with green leaves and red flowers. The three smaller ones will have yellow dresses, and the dress of the middle-sized doll will have a red flower with green leaves. Although the two smallest dolls do not have flower patterns, small dots resembling flowers will be painted on them. The finished dolls will have rosy cheeks and red lips.
