Sizes in US and metric are permanently etched onto the needles by laser. These needles are exclusively distributed by "Oriental Touch LLC" at Amazon under the brand name of "Stanwood". They are uniquely different from other mass produced needles: (1) The moso bamboo used to make these needles are hand picked from a grove locally known to produce the hardest bamboo culms; (2) The needle points are shaped by automated blades to create uniformly shaped needles; (3) These needles are naturally finished by the finest sanding paper. Their smoothness is natural, comfortable and very different from fake smoothness created by lacquering (short cut to cover up underneath roughness).
