4072: In Training (Tales of the Restored American Commonwealth Book 3)

Pat and IC-4072 spend time in recovery from the yards and are cleared for the next step in their journey. Pat is returned to Punishment Block 6 where Warden Weems has arranged a challenging welcome. 4072 is transported to Training Facility 3, a para-military unit in Region 1 South where she will be given explicit lessons and maddening labor while she learns the routine of prison life. There she meets wise Caesar, an inmate assistant, Lead Teacher Ledger, and a host of fellow inmates including Nix, a friendly 3-striker, and Blaze, an international tennis star sentenced to life for trying to defect from the RAC. Meanwhile Rev. Senator Steve Laren plots with the mysterious “Mr. Seven” to expose 4072 to further shame.
