This Scotchcast Wet-niche potting kit includes resin compound (enough for one light), 1 pair protective gloves, CC-3 cable cleaning pads, a wooden applicator and instruction sheet. It is the first listed product that meets NEC requirements to allow the use of rigid nonmetallic conduit in the installation of wet-niche underwater lighting fixtures. This provides protection against corrosion and possible deteriorating effects of pool water by reliably encapsulating the 8 AWG ground connection in a wet-niche shell. The wet-niche forming shell is a corrosion-resistant metal housing for underwater fixtures in permanently installed pools. 3M Scotchcast potting compound is packaged in an easy-mix 1.8-ounce.
