3DMakerWorld Artifex 3D Printer – Complete Kit

The 3DMakerWorld Artifex 3D printer, which requires assembly from this kit, has an open platform and fabricates objects using 1.75mm ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) or PLA (polylactic acid) thermoplastic filament (sold separately), with a vertical resolution from 50 to 300 micron (0.05 to 0.30 mm). The printer can build objects to maximum dimensions of 7.5 x 9 x 12.2 in/190 x 230 x 310 mm (H x W x D). The printer is commanded through the integrated USB cable using G-code numerical control instructions. It can be used with 3D printer management software packages (free download).

The frame is made of precision-machined, anodized aluminum extrusion with corner bracket reinforced structure. A metal build platform heats up to 120 degrees C to help provide thermal stability. Professional grade linear rails and carriages, chrome-plated precision shafts, and ACME lead screws help ensure precision movement. The size 17 stepper motors meet the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard ICS 16-2001.
