3B Scientific L50 is a wearable model for demonstrating breast self examination, with a natural cast of a female upper body with medium-sized breasts. The L50 is made of silicone for durability and realistic skin texture and detail. The model has a strap-around harness for ease of use, with a stand and aluminum carrying case for convenient storage and transport. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classroom and office settings.

The model allows for demonstrations in both upright or lying positions, and simulates exams of benign and malignant tumors in different stages of development: two benign tumors, four malignant tumors, and two typical anomalies.

The model measures 56 x 44 x 24cm/22.0 x 17.3 x 9.4 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 11.5kg/25.35lb. (H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is the horizontal distance from left to right; D is the horizontal distance from front to back.) The L50 has been dermatologically tested.
