In addition to drops, spills, and cracked screen coverage, the 2 Year Plan also covers your product against electrical and mechanical breakdowns, after the 1 year manufacturer€s limited warranty provided by Amazon ends. This plan also includes battery replacement if the maximum charge falls below one-half of it€s original potential.*

Easy Claims Filing
Start by calling 888-280-3383, 6am to 10pm PT, 7 days a week and for approved claims we will send you a replacement Kindle so you will not be without your device for long.


Advance Exchange:

Failed Kindles: Canopy will ship a replacement Kindle to you. You will also receive a pre-paid shipping label to send back the broken Kindle. A valid credit card is required on file to process an advance exchange. If you don't return the failed Kindle within 30 days, you will be charged the price of the replacement device, not to exceed the original purchase price. Simply return the failed Kindle within 30 days to avoid any charges.*

Your protection plan lasts 2 years from the date your Kindle ships. The Term of this plan will be extended by an additional two (2) weeks to allow for product delivery.

For Kindles purchased at an authorized retailer other than Amazon.com:
Your protection plan lasts 2 years from the date you purchased your plan.
