2013 Mahoney Chardonnay Gavin Vineyard 750 mL
The 2013 Gavin Vineyard Chardonnay benefited from the very dry, mild winter that gave way to a similarly dry spring. This allowed the vines to set an ideal crop load. The mild summer allowed the vines to evenly ripen their fruit, and the early cluster set translated into a harvest that began midway through September. The fruit came off the vines in ideal condition with flavors, sugars, and acids in perfect balance.
