To set your own combination, please follow these easy steps:

The lock comes with the code set to 000. (Look for the arrows on the front to line up the numbers). When it is set to the current code (000) you can press in the reset button on the bottom of the lock. I used a pen. Hold it in while you change the code. Release and open the lock with the side button
