Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' step-in combination, with pointed outline at top attached shoulder straps and two-piece circular insets at each side. Upper part and lower part of front and back are perforated for lace." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1928-1929. Suggested fabrics: Step-in combinations were made of silk pongee, searslip cloth, glove silk, crepe de chine, rayon, tub silk, radium silk and mercerized jersey. The colors were flesh, white or tan.. Materials required: 1-3/4 Yds. 36" wide fabric.
