Barrel bushing style muzzle brake for Government (5") barrel 1911 Autos.
Will not fit Commander (4.25") barrel or Officer/Compact (4" or shorter).

•Barrel bushing muzzle brake for Colt 1911/1911 clones
•Fits 5" Government length 1911 Autos with a barrel OD between .577"-581". The bushing ID. Is .583" +-.0005".
•Fits calibers up to and including .45 acp. Can fit .38 and 9mm
•Minor fitting may be required
•Not compatible with bull barrels. This muzzle brake is not threaded.
•Reduces muzzle flip by venting gasses at muzzle and adding weight to the end of your barrel.
•Adds approx. 1" length to your barrel and weighs 2.35 oz.
•CNC Machined Billet Hardened, Aerospace grade stainless steel.
Some buyers may need to shorten their spring plug to 1.2" or purchase an after market guide rod such as the Wilson Combat (#148, 5) or (25 G). Another option is to use a Commander recoil spring plug.
Does not fit Remington R-1 without additional fitting. We recommend consulting a gunsmith.
Installation:
Start with the barrel and guide rod installed in the slide
Insert spring and then insert spring cap.
Depress the spring cap with thumb. With spring cap depressed, insert muzzle brake and twist into place.
Removal:
Insert the back side of a 3/8" drill bit or dowel pin with a diameter of .399" to depress spring cap.
Twist muzzle brake counterclockwise to the 4 0'clock position
Remove muzzle brake.
DO NOT force the muzzle brake onto your barrel. I highly encourage you to contact me or visit a gunsmith if you have any issues regarding the fit of the muzzle brake. We only recommend using STANDARD AMMO with these muzzle brakes
