2-Way Solenoid Valves are used to stop or open flow to a pipeline in one direction. They open/close with no pressure assistance needed from the working fluid. They do no stop flow in the backwards direction (against the arrow) and do not allow for full flow in the backward direction. A check valve should be utilized with this valve if backflow cannot be permitted.
