10 Pounds of Sand: Lessons Learned From the GORUCK Light (Adventures in GORUCK Book 2)

I was in a group of almost complete strangers carrying a used couch down a narrow street in San Diego. We all had on backpacks full of sand, gravel, bricks, or other heavy objects, and we all paid for this experience. A few games of Israeli tag, a make believe stream crossing via riggers belt, and carrying someone I had just met on my shoulders, reminded me why GORUCK events are so damn magical.

This is my story of the GORUCK Light and how obstacles can bring out something greater in each one of us.
