Designed to cut clean holes in wood and plastic, these WL Fuller Type "B" counterbores can be used with stop collars. This type of counter bore produces flat bottom holes for the heads of nails, spikes, and bolts allowing them to be sunk far enough beneath the surface. This allows for a wood plug to be used to cover the head. These counterbores can be set at any point on a twist drill and are held fast with two hex-socket screws. Adding a stop collar lets you control the depth of cut. Designed for clean cutting.  Made of carbon steel and heat-treated for long tool life.
